Dan Cogan

Dan Cogan is a seasoned administrator and licensed professional engineer. He served five years as the Chief of Staff to the Mayor of Ithaca NY, overseeing a workforce of over 400 employees and an $80M budget. He served for a decade as City Councilperson in Ithaca and was Acting Mayor for five years. He worked 15 years as an engineer and managing partner for an Ithaca-based mechanical engineering firm, focusing on energy efficiency in buildings, where he oversaw quality assurance for a statewide New York multifamily buildings energy efficiency program. His background in engineering and local government serves him well in his current role at Dimensional Energy where he oversees all operations and administrative aspects of the business.
