Ron Martere

Ron Martere leads the North Business Group for Steelcase. For over 100 years, leading organizations have trusted Steelcase to help them innovate and grow – in business, education and health – by creating dynamic, high-performing places that help their people do their best work. Steelcase has appeared on Fortune’s “Most Admired Companies” list 16 times.  Ron joined Steelcase in 1999 and has held various sales and leadership roles based in California, Texas, and New York.  Prior to Steelcase he was on the leadership team for a Palo Alto-based startup company, worked in Europe for a medical device manufacturer, and served 5 years on active duty as a U.S. Army officer.  Ron is an International Business graduate of Auburn University and holds a German Business certification through the Goethe Institute. He is the proud husband and father of his wife Michele and their two children James and Allie.
